We recommend scheduling your ride as soon as you know the date and time of your trip to ensure that other customers don't book the same time you're looking for.
No, our rides are not shared with other passengers, except those in your group. We offer private transportation services for individuals or groups who prefer a more personalized experience.
This is actually one of the most common questions we receive.
Schedule A Ride is not licensed to offer guided city tours. Our focus is on providing private, high-quality transportation from point A to point B — ensuring comfort, safety, and reliability.
To be fully transparent, we usually don’t recommend doing a city tour by car in New York. Traffic can be heavy, stops are limited, and depending on the time of day, some locations can be nearly impossible to access. That’s why hop-on hop-off sightseeing buses are an excellent option — they cover the whole city, include multiple stops, and allow you to make the most of your time exploring.
However, if you prefer a more private experience, we do offer a chauffeur service, where a driver stays with you for the number of hours you need and follows your chosen itinerary.
We also have our Welcome Tour, a scenic 1.5-hour drive between the airport and your hotel, perfect for a first overview of the city — without stops or a guide.
Our rates are all inclusive and cover taxes, tolls, and fees. Tips are at your discretion.
On some occasions, we may require a prepayment (deposit), which can be made by credit or debit card. Schedule A Ride does not store your credit or debit card information, so your balance must be paid at the beginning of your trip. We do accept major credit cards, Venmo, Zelle, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Cash.
