SCHEDULE A RIDE IS A BOOKING PLATFORM AND REFERRAL SERVICE ONLY. We connect customers with independent transportation providers and drivers. We do not own, operate, or control any vehicles. We do not employ drivers. All transportation services are provided by independent drivers who work with our platform. Schedule A Ride acts solely as a booking platform and payment processor. 

Children under 13 may use our website and services only with verifiable parental consent. Minors under 18 traveling alone require signed parental authorization. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent.

Additionally, you agree not to hold us liable for any damages related to issues beyond our control, including but not limited to, acts of God, war, terrorism, insurrection, riots, criminal activity, natural disasters, disruption of communications or infrastructure, labor shortages or disruptions (including unlawful strikes), scarcity of materials, and any other events which are not within our control.

Platform Service Description: Schedule A Ride operates as a booking platform that connects customers with independent drivers for pre-arranged ground transportation including airport pickups and scheduled rides within New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Washington DC. We serve customers worldwide but do not provide on-demand ride services.

IMPORTANT: INDEPENDENT DRIVER RELATIONSHIP

•All transportation services are provided by independent drivers

•Schedule A Ride does not own, operate, or control any vehicles

•Schedule A Ride does not employ any drivers

•All drivers are independent business operators

•Schedule A Ride acts solely as a booking platform and payment processor

Booking Requirements: All transportation must be booked in advance through our platform. Customers must provide accurate information including contact details, pickup/destination addresses, and flight information for airport services.

Pricing and Payment: Prices listed on our website are final, including all taxes and fees. Customers pay Schedule A Ride for transportation services. The only additional fees that may occur are for changes to reservations after the trip has started, which must be negotiated and paid directly to the driver.

Cancellation Policy:

•48+ hours notice: Full refund of any pre-payment (except van reservations)

•Within 24 hours notice: $35 fee or 20% of full fare, whichever is higher

•Less than 24 hours notice: Full fare (100% cancellation fee)

Rescheduling Policy:

•48+ hours notice: Free rescheduling subject to driver availability

•Less than 24 hours notice: 20% fee of full fare, subject to availability

Third-Party Services: To ensure availability and fulfill last-minute requests, Schedule A Ride may arrange services through third-party providers (such as Uber, taxi companies, etc.). Full fare payment in advance is required to cover these arrangements.

Driver Standards: All drivers in our network maintain appropriate licensing and insurance. Specific driver requests cannot be guaranteed due to availability and operational needs.

Customer Conduct: Customers must treat drivers and vehicles respectfully, arrive on time, and follow all applicable laws. Prohibited conduct includes smoking, illegal activities, and abusive behavior, which may result in service termination without refund. 

Limitation of Liability for Transportation Services:

Our liability for transportation services is limited as follows:

•We are not liable for circumstances beyond our control (weather, traffic, road conditions, airport delays, government actions, natural disasters, public health emergencies)•We assume no responsibility for lost or damaged personal belongings left in vehicles

•Maximum liability for service-related claims shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service

•We cannot guarantee specific arrival times due to traffic and road conditions

•This limitation does not apply to personal injury, death, or damages caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct, or where prohibited by applicable law.

Customer Damage Responsibility:

You are responsible for damage to vehicles caused by you or your passengers, including:

•Carpet or seat damage: $550 fee

•Sanitation cleaning (vomiting): $350 fee

•Minor spills or food damage: $150 fee

•Electronics or equipment damage (tablets, TVs, cameras, dashcams, radios): $800 fee

Prohibited Conduct:

•Illegal drug use and alcohol consumption are prohibited by law

•Smoking and vaping are not permitted in any vehicles

•Standing through sunroof or while vehicle is moving (customer responsible for fines)

•All passengers must wear seatbelts as required by law

•Drivers reserve the right to terminate trips without refund for blatant disregard of rules or laws

CRITICAL NOTICE: BY USING OUR BOOKING PLATFORM, YOU EXPRESSLY WAIVE AND RELEASE ALL CLAIMS AGAINST SCHEDULE A RIDE FOR TRANSPORTATION-RELATED INCIDENTS.

TRANSPORTATION LIABILITY WAIVER: Schedule A Ride provides booking platform services only. Customer hereby expressly waives, releases, and discharges Schedule A Ride from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising from or related to transportation services, including but not limited to:

•Personal injury, death, or property damage of any kind arising from transportation services

•Vehicle accidents, collisions, or mechanical failures

•Driver negligence, misconduct, or criminal acts

•Vehicle conditions, maintenance, or safety issues

•Lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings

•Delays, cancellations, or missed appointments

•Any and all damages arising from transportation services, regardless of cause

ASSUMPTION OF RISK: Customer acknowledges and assumes all risks associated with transportation services, including but not limited to:

•Risk of serious injury or death from vehicle accidents

•Risk of property damage or loss

•Risk of driver misconduct or criminal activity

•Risk of vehicle mechanical failure or unsafe conditions

•All other risks inherent in ground transportation

RELEASE OF LIABILITY: Customer, for themselves and their heirs, assigns, and legal representatives, hereby releases and forever discharges Schedule A Ride, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses, and causes of action arising from or related to transportation services, whether caused by negligence, breach of contract, or any other legal theory.

INDEMNIFICATION FOR TRANSPORTATION: Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Schedule A Ride from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from customer's use of transportation services, including claims by third parties injured in transportation-related incidents.

MAXIMUM PLATFORM LIABILITY: Schedule A Ride's total liability for platform services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific booking, regardless of the legal theory or cause of action. 

Disability Services: Schedule A Ride and our drivers cannot deny services to persons with disabilities or service animals. We are committed to providing equal access to transportation services in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and applicable state laws.

Service Animal Policy: Service animals are welcome on all transportation services at no additional charge. Customers should notify us during booking if traveling with a service animal to ensure appropriate vehicle assignment.

Non-Discrimination Policy: Schedule A Ride prohibits discrimination based on race, religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, sex, marital status, gender identity, age, or any other characteristic protected under applicable law. Any driver found to have violated this policy will be removed from our platform.

Whistleblower Protection: Schedule A Ride prohibits retaliation against customers, drivers, or employees who report discrimination, safety violations, or other legal concerns. Reports can be made confidentially through our customer service line or privacy email. 

Schedule A Ride charges for booking platform and payment processing services. All fees are included in the quoted price unless otherwise specified. You will be responsible for all charges, fees, duties, taxes, and assessments arising out of your use of our platform services.

Payment Processing: We do not store credit card information. Payment processing is handled securely by third-party providers including GoDaddy and Square.

International Customers: International customers may be subject to currency conversion fees. Payment must be in US Dollars unless otherwise arranged. International banking fees are the customer's responsibility.

Access to certain areas of the Site may only be available to registered members. To become a registered Member, you are required to answer a limited number of mandatory questions. Answers to additional questions are optional. You represent and warrant that all information you supply to us about yourself and others is true and accurate.

Our collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated herein by reference. For transportation services, we may share necessary information with assigned drivers including your name, contact information, pickup/destination addresses, and flight details.

International customers: Your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Data Subject Requests: You may exercise your privacy rights by submitting a request through our Data Subject Request form available on our website or by contacting privacy@schedulearide.us.

AI-Assisted Communications: Schedule A Ride uses artificial intelligence (AI) technology to improve customer service quality and operational efficiency. By using our services and communicating with us, you consent to the following:

Call Recording and AI Processing:

•Recording: Phone calls with our customer service team may be recorded for quality assurance, training, and service improvement purposes.

•AI Transcription: Recorded calls may be transcribed using AI technology to create written records of conversations.

•AI Analysis: AI tools may analyze call content, patterns, and customer interactions to improve service delivery, identify training needs, and enhance customer experience.

•AI Summarization: AI may generate summaries of calls for follow-up documentation and internal record-keeping.

•Third-Party AI Providers: We use third-party AI service providers to process call recordings and transcripts. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.

Your Consent: By using our services, you expressly consent to:

•The recording of your phone conversations with Schedule A Ride

•The processing of your call recordings using AI technology

•The storage and retention of call recordings and AI-generated transcripts

•The sharing of call data with third-party AI service providers

Opt-Out Option: If you do not wish to have your calls recorded or processed using AI technology, you must inform our customer service representative at the beginning of your call. We will accommodate your request, though this may limit our ability to provide certain services or resolve disputes.

AI Limitations and Disclaimers:

•No Guarantee of Accuracy: AI-generated transcripts, summaries, and analyses may contain errors or inaccuracies. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content.

•Human Oversight: While AI assists our operations, all final decisions regarding your service are made by human staff members.

•No Automated Decision-Making: We do not use AI to make automated decisions that significantly affect your rights or services without human review.

•Verification Required: You should verify any important information provided through AI-assisted communications with our customer service team.

Liability Limitation for AI: Schedule A Ride is not liable for:

•Errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in AI-generated content

•Decisions made based on AI-generated information

•Technical failures or malfunctions of AI systems

•Unauthorized access to AI-processed data by third parties

•Any damages arising from your reliance on AI-generated information

Data Retention: Call recordings and AI-generated transcripts are retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data retention requirements. You may request deletion of your call recordings by submitting a Data Subject Request. 

Our website is certified by TrustedSite as a verified business with certified security. TrustedSite actively monitors our site for security issues including malware, malicious links, and phishing. No security issues were detected in our most recent security check, providing an additional layer of protection for our customers.

We are not liable for transportation delays, cancellations, or service failures due to circumstances beyond our control including: weather conditions, traffic accidents, road closures, government actions, natural disasters, public health emergencies, airport delays, or mechanical failures. In such cases, we will attempt to provide alternative arrangements when possible and provide refunds for company-initiated cancellations.

We appreciate your feedback. As Schedule A Ride respects your rights to your ideas, please do not submit any confidential ideas, information, or suggestions in any form to Schedule A Ride or any of its affiliates. For any ideas, information, or recommendations you do submit, regardless of what your communication regarding your submissions says, you understand that your submissions are voluntary, and the following terms shall apply to your submissions:

You agree that:

•Your submissions and their contents will automatically become the property of Schedule A Ride without any compensation to you.

•Schedule A Ride has no obligation to review your submissions.

•Schedule A Ride may implement and distribute any portion of your submissions and their contents for any purpose in any way, without any compensation to you; and

•Schedule A Ride has no obligation to keep your submissions confidential.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Schedule A Ride from all claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or relating to:

•Your use of our platform services

•Your violation of these terms

•Your illegal conduct

•Your negligence or willful misconduct

•Transportation services provided by drivers

•Any claims arising from your interaction with drivers

•Damage to vehicles or property caused by you or your passengers

•False information you provide

•Any transportation-related incidents, accidents, or injuries

The Visitor agrees, as a condition of viewing, that any communication between the Visitor and the Website is deemed a submission. All submissions, including portions thereof, graphics contained thereon, or any of the content of the submission, shall become the exclusive property of the Website and may be used, without further permission, for commercial use without additional consideration of any kind. The Visitor agrees to only communicate that information to the Website, which it wishes to allow the Website to use in any manner as it sees fit, forever. "Submissions" is also a provision of the Privacy Policy.

No additional notice of any kind, for any reason, is required to be given to the Visitor, and the Visitor expressly warrants an understanding that the right to notice is waived as a condition for permission to view or interact with the website.

For disputes related to platform services, you agree to first attempt informal resolution by contacting us directly. If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under American Arbitration Association rules, except for:

•Personal injury or death claims (which are waived under our transportation liability waiver)

•Claims involving gross negligence or willful misconduct in platform services

•Small claims court actions within jurisdictional limits

•Claims that cannot be arbitrated under applicable law

TRANSPORTATION DISPUTES: All disputes arising from transportation services are waived under our comprehensive transportation liability waiver above.

International customers may have additional rights under local consumer protection laws. Arbitration shall take place in New York, New York, with each party bearing its own costs.

Arbitration shall be conducted under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, which are in effect on the date a dispute is submitted to the American Arbitration Association. Information about the American Arbitration Association, its rules, and its forms are available from the American Arbitration Association, 335 Madison Avenue, Floor 10, New York, New York 10017-4605. The hearing will take place in the city or county where the owner of https://schedulearide.us resides.

In no case shall the viewer, visitor, member, subscriber, or customer have the right to initiate a lawsuit or seek a jury trial. Viewer, visitor, member, subscriber or customer will not have the right to engage in pre-trial discovery except as provided in the rules; you will not have the right to participate as a representative or member of any class of claimants pertaining to any claim subject to arbitration; the arbitrator's decision will be final and binding with limited rights of appeal.

The other party shall reimburse the prevailing party for any and all costs associated with the dispute arbitration, including attorney fees, collection fees, investigation fees, and travel expenses.

These terms are governed by New York State law. For non-arbitrable claims, jurisdiction lies with New York State and federal courts, except where prohibited by applicable consumer protection laws.

Multi-State Services: Transportation services crossing state lines are governed by applicable transportation regulations, but liability for such services is waived under our transportation liability waiver.

International Customers: Customers outside the United States may have additional rights under local consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

If any matter concerning this purchase shall be brought before a court of law, pre- or post-arbitration, the Viewer, visitor, member, subscriber, or customer agrees that the sole and proper jurisdiction is the state and city declared in the contact information of the web owner, unless otherwise specified here. In the event that litigation is in a federal court, the proper court shall be the closest federal court to the owner of the https://schedulearide.us address. Furthermore, the viewer, visitor, member, subscriber, or customer agrees that the venue or location for any benefit, delivery of service, or product shall be the State of New York.

The viewer, visitor, member, subscriber, or customer agrees that the applicable law to be applied shall, in all cases, be that of the state in which the owner of https://schedulearide.us is located, which is the State of New York.
